BLACKSBURG, VA – Health 2.0 announced Monday that the Hokie Health Code-a-thon will be held April 13-14 in Blacksburg, Va. Officials say the event will draw upon the local talent of an area that's fast-becoming a health IT hotbed.
Teams of physicians, students, software developers, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs and others will compete in the two-day event to develop applications that enhance care quality, safety and efficiency. The winner will receive $2,500 and five runner-up projects will receive $500 each.
